DISCOVERY SUMMER DAY CAMP AT RECREATION PARK 

Ages 6 to 12 (completed kindergarten)

Camp Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. M-F (Closed July 4)

This action-packed full day camp provides an awesome summer of swimming, field trips, sports and creative adventures in a safe, fun environment. Daily swimming is included. Field trips are included for campers contracted for full sessions only. There is an additional field trip charge for campers not enrolled in full sessions. Summer School student half-day rate applies June 16 to July ll. Field trips are not included and no care is available for summer school students on field trip days. Children bring their lunches; morning and afternoon snacks are provided. Drop-in is available only where space permits. Registration includes one camp shirt (mandatory for field trips.) Full-time sessions may be reserved in advance. Session fees are due by 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before each session begins. Drop-in rate applies after that time.

Refund Policy: Credits and/or day changes must be requested two weeks in advance of the session. There is no refund for days missed or for swim lessons or other park activity absences due to field trips.

Late pick-up fee: A late fee of $1.00 per minute applies at 6:01 p.m. by the Day Camp clock.

IMPACT COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING PROGRAM AT RECREATION PARK 

Ages 12 to 15 (completed 7th grade)

This program combines a fun, active summer with on-the-job training and leadership development. C.I.T.s are paired with our Discovery Summer Day Camp professionals to help lead games, assist with theme activities and build relationships with our campers. This hands-on experience will prepare C.I.T.s for future employment and increase their confidence, and looks great on job or college applications. The full day rate includes field trips and swimming. The registration fee includes one C.I.T. shirt which is mandatory for field trips and for assisting with groups. Drop-in is only available where space permits.

Registration $10 for C.I.T.s who do not have siblings in Summer Day Camp, On-the-job training and leadership development while working with our Summer Day Camp professionals.

Part-time: $20 per day 8:00-1:00 or 1:00-6:00 Drop-in: $22 Field trips not included

DISCOVERY CLUB 

Our state-licensed before and after school Discovery Club programs are located at Auburn Elementary, Newcastle, Penryn, Placer Hills, and Skyridge Elementary schools. Our committed staff fulfills all licensing requirements: 18+ years of age, CPR/1stAid certified, DOJ clearance, ECE units+. Priority registration opens July 8 (for kindergarten & returning Discovery students). Public registration opens July 15 for new Discovery students.
