adult pick-up volleyball

Not for beginners! It is suggested that players have a general knowledge of the current rules, how to play the positions, and a reasonable set of volleyball skills. Passing, setting, hitting, serving and blocking skills are needed as well as defensive play. Some gamregister nowes will be fast paced with the ball coming hard off the spike requiring good reactions. Some games will have center set play while others may be in a 6/2 or 5/1 set up. Players are asked to call their own violations and adhere to safe interactive play which includes not going over the center line and not dangerous play at all times. Bump/Set/Hit- three touch strategy is encouraged as well as even distribution of sets to hit among men and women. There will be no instruction or coaching provided.

PGA GOLF CAMP

Adults, here is your chance to get all your questions about your swing answered by the Northern California PGA’s Player Development Award Winner, Phil Green. This camp is designed for golfers of all levels from aspiring tour pros to those who have never touched a club. During the four day camp players will learn the ball flight laws, secrets the tour pros use to control putting distance, how to get the ball airborne off the ground, greenside and fairway bunkers shots, and how to hit the ball straight, with a draw, and with a fade off the tee. Phil Green has developed some of the best teaching methods in golf with his use of visual aides, special training clubs, and drills which players will take with them for a lifetime.
