SEWING CAMP

register nowMake a Rag Rug: This is a brilliant way to recycle clothing into something useful. All handwork for this sewing project, no machines, no irons. Students learn how to cut and braid rugs, eventually becoming a small rug perfect for in front of the sink! (Bring bags of rags and scraps and safety pins.)

Recycling Clothing II: Create a reusable tote bag for shopping and a smaller bag for car trash out of old t-shirts. Projects will be finished off with a vibrant tie dye job! (Bring 2 t-shirts.)

Recylcled Clothing I: While school is out for the week keep hands and minds busy. Using a man’s button down or snap shirt, students will cut and sew an apron. Great gift idea! (Bring a shirt.)
