Princess Craft Camp Children will spend their time crafting to make the perfect tea party on June 30. Please bring comfortable clothing that can get messy and a water bottle each day. On the last day we will set the table and create the perfect princess tea party.

INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC PRODUCTION: ROCK STAR SONGWRITING CAMP Students will learn the art of songwriting and performing. Youth will be encouraged to make their own beat, write their own lyrics, record, and showcase with a live performance at the of our 6-week performance. We will go through vocal training, breathwork, writing techniques, how to’s with recording, and building confidence for performance. This class will challenge your vocal skills and enhance your creativity. Students will walk out of this series with an original song created by them. Can be done in a group or solo. This will be a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can collaborate, create, and build the confidence they need to let their inner Rock Star shine.
HORSE CAMP Learn horsemanship, horse body language and all about tack and horses in and out of the arena. In three, 3 hour sessions, you will form a partnership with your horse, play games, and have fun.

THEATER CAMP We will be creating a whole show from auditions, set making, acting, costume design, and more. Children will have time to memorize parts and perform the last day of camp for an audience.

Creating with Clay Camp Play with different types of clay. Paint a finished piece. Create a sculpture and have it fired. Pieces will be fired and brought to ARD for pick up.

Fairy & Gnome Garden Camp Build a living growing Fairy/Gnome garden that is a mystical place where fantasies are born. Container, dirt, sand, rocks, glass, tiny furniture, and accessories will all be provided.

Painting Camp You can become a fantastic painter. This exciting camp will start you on your way. By the end of this class you will have brilliant paintings to give as gifts or to hang on your wall.

INTELLIBRICKS Lego Robotics: Hands-on introduction to the basics of engineering, robotics and coding. Students learn teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving as they use Lego bricks, WeDo 2.0 electronics, and simple programming! In our Galaxy Bots theme students will be recreating wonders of the galaxy and program their models using various sensors.

Digital Drawing & Design: Images of Imagination With exciting projects every day, students will learn concepts fundamental to most major design programs, integrating elements of traditional art such as form, shape, and texture, and using Wacom drawing pads that give all the functionally and specificity as any manual drawing tool!

Social Skills For The Digital Age Camp Do your kids struggle with social situations? Are they constantly glued to their phones and refuse to make eye contact? Students learn to deal with social settings, such as how to respond when a newcomer joins the group, approach kids they don’t know, and respond to a social invitation.

LIVE OAK WALDORF CAMPS Once again, ARD is partnering with Live Oak Waldorf school to bring additional camp options to the public. Live Oak is set on a beautiful campus and has a reputation for hands on, experiential learning brought to you by a professional and nurturing staff. Camps are limited, so sign up early.

DISCOVERY CAMP Discovery Day Camp is filled with projects, games, activities, events, sports and creative adventures in a safe, fun environment with well-trained staff and a low camper-to-staff ratio. Camp will take place at: Recreation Park, Skyridge Elementary School and Auburn Elementary School. See Discovery Camp for more details.
Babysitting 101 Camp Your child will learn the basics of child safety, infant care, child discipline, games and activities, business strategies, and professionalism. An overview of first aid and CPR will be provided. This is not a certification class, but students will receive a certificate of completion.

Science Rockstars Rock with science with cool potions and chemical reactions. Grow your own crystals, make sidewalk chalk, and a chromatography t-shirt to keep. Experiment with inertia and gravity. Explore how equipment and movement work together. Learn about visual effects in photography and movie-making. Finally, go mad with structures and machines.
