The Auburn Recreation and Parks District will host a variety of food trucks Friday, Aug. 18, at a Recreation Park Food Truck Fiesta, with musical entertainment and amusement for the whole family. 

The Food Truck Fiesta is turning 10 this year, and it continues to grow. More than 1,000 people turned out for the event last year, and this year’s food offerings shouldn’t disappoint, either. The ARD Food Truck Fiesta is scheduled at 5 p.m. at Recreation Park, 123 Recreation Drive.

Food trucks include Drewski’s, Pinorrito, Dubbs Lunchboxx, Outlaw Cuisine, Old Town Pizza, The Tin Lantern Food Truck, Maria’s Taco Truck, Bacon Mania Truck Sacramento, Hefty Gyros, Cousins Maine Lobster, Parker’s Hot Dogs of Santa Cruz and Poppy’s Sno Biz.

The event will feature music by The Bob Woods Trio and The Golden Cadillacs. Auburn Ale House beer and Lone Buffalo Vineyards wine will be available for purchase.

Family-friendly activities such as crafts at the various vendor booths and bounce houses for the children are also planned.

Purchases at the Food Truck Fiesta will support the scenic 9-acre Auburn Bike Park.
