The cost of our program is $38 per day (for prepaid enrollment) and there is a non refundable program membership/ registration fee of $30 (per family).

AGES

Our program serves children 5-12 years old (or PreK through 5th grade).  If you have an older child that you would like to enroll, please reach out to Caleb Porter, Department Manager, to see if there is space in our pre-teen classroom, available only at Recreation Park.

SWIMMING

Based on pool availability, we will likely be swimming once a week on Fridays.  (Regional Park site students will start their day at Recreation Park on Fridays and be transported back to Regional Park by Placer County Transport after lunch).

If your child attends Recreation Park Day Camp, we can walk your child to ARD swim lessons for the 4:30 pm group lesson.  BUT there is limited enrollment available in this time slot. Reach out to Mark Brunner at mbrunner@auburnrec.com to sign up.  (Additional registration and fees will be required.) If you sign up for a different swim lesson time, you will need to make arrangements for your child to be escorted there.

WHAT TO BRING

We serve healthy afternoon snacks daily.  If your child likes a snack for morning recess, please pack one in addition to their lunch. Students also need to bring sunscreen and a water bottle daily.

OUR PROGRAM IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.  You are not guaranteed a spot in our program unless you sign up for the days you need in advance AND receive confirmation from ARD staff via email.  We realize this can be a financial burden for many families, so we have provided an option for you to sign up for all the days you need this summer and set up a payment plan.  Fees will be automatically charged weekly to a credit card you have on file, a week in advance for the days you enrolled.   You are allowed to cancel days but must give us at least 14 days advance notice so we can interrupt the automatic charges.
