Youth Classes

Auburn Rec youth classes introduce kids to new ideas and fun hobbies. Programs for grade schoolers promote independence and responsibility, enhancing their sports abilities, creative skills and encourages them to have social interactions and fun.

Auburn Gymnastics:

RED GROUP

Check it out! Our AGC “Red Group” class is perfect for little ones aged 3 to 4 who are raring to join our exciting sessions! In this class, our skilled coaches guide your kids to build coordination and social skills. They’ll learn about body shapes, the art of taking turns, and becoming independent gymnastics superstars without parental assistance. It’s a fantastic journey of growth and fun for your little gymnastics!

CAREGIVER & ME YOGA

Fun playful yoga class. Designed for the younger Yogis and their big person or people. Introduction to meditation, breathing, and yoga postures. Class includes music, free dance, games, and laughing. Fun quality time with your little one and a chance to be in community.

YOGA-ART DAY CAMP

This camp is designed to motivate children to be active, build confidence, and manage the spectrum of emotions that they experience in their day to day lives. They will get the opportunity to learn yoga poses, meditation, and breathing, using games and music. We do mindful arts and crafts, too!

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE

This is THE foothill region recreation volleyball league. This seven-game season volleyball league emphasizes skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship.

WRITE A NOVEL IN 7 WEEKS

This fun and supportive workshop is designed to help teens get an entire novel drafted in just seven weeks, utilizing techniques and tools from Camp NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). Participants will discover how to build character, plot, and setting and how to use them to drive a story. There will be games, and prizes and a lot of in-class writing. This workshop is taught by a professional freelance editor and published author who wrote her first book when she was 15.
