Our camps offer many options to keep your child excited and engaged this summer. ARD summer camps have small class sizes and are fun for all age kids! Register today.

VISIONS SOCER

VISIONS STRIKER SOCCER SKILLS CAMP

This unique training camp focuses on SCORING GOALS! The first part of the day is spent working through a variety of fun and high energy training activities focused on improving goal scoring techniques. The second part of each day students test their goal scoring skills in a daily tournament.

FUTSAL CAMP

Futsal is fun, fast, exciting and the #1 way to improve soccer skills. This camp packed full of high energy and dynamic training activities which are specially designed to help players develop their core individual skills in a fun and engaging environment. Each day campers will spend the first part of the day working through various skills activities before participating in an end of day mini-tournament.

SKYHAWKS SPORTS CAMP

MINI-HAWK CAMP

This multi-sport program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. Sports are taught in as safe, structured environment fill with encouragement and fun. Through exciting games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace.

SKYHAWKS BASKETBALL CAMP

This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. Using our progression curriculum, we focus on the whole player while teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based instruction and small sided scrimmages.

SKYHAWKS MULTI-SPORT CAMP

Multi-Sport camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. Athletes will learn the rules and essential skills of each sport, along with vital life lessons such as sportsmanship and teamwork.

Explore the world’s top soccer-playing nations. Players will learn tricks, skills and tactics throughout the week and showcase their skills in our ever-popular Camp Word Cup!

MAD SCIENCE CAMPS

GROSSOLOGY

Ewwww, GROSS! You’ve never had so much fun with the ooey, gooey and GROSS things of Science! We get down and dirty with earthworms and learn how they and other bugs help us with composting. Show some guts as you process food in your Digestor Inspector and see what systems make our body go. Have some good, rotten fun with garbage decomposition and see how important water is for everything! You’ll learn about the power of chemistry, how it affects matter (the stuff everything is made of) and get to make your own totally yucky polymer slime to keep! Just don’t describe this stuff during dinner!

NASA – JOURNEY INTO OUTER SPACE

Mad Science and NASA have teamed up to bring you the excitement and wonder of space. See the principles of thrust and propulsion at work in a real rocket launch. Explore the atmosphere on earth and beyond. Journey through a galaxy as you investigate the life cycle of stars. Explore the farthest reaches of our solar system and create a lunar eclipse. Probe the mysteries of meteors and bounce around satellite light as you learn about space phenomena. Experience the life of an astronaut as you suit up for a space flight and then perform spacecraft repairs. This is truly out of this world!

EUREKA! THE INVENTORS’ CAMP

Be inspired by the most famous inventors in history – Ben Franklin, the Wright Brothers, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Rube Goldberg! – and create your OWN inventions! Use their techniques to break through a series of modern-day challenges. You will learn how to invent solutions to problems and make them come to life, just like these legendary innovators did. Construct catapults and forts, design underwater vehicles, build a mini-amplifier, and assemble a working lightsaber to take home. Thomas Edison said invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration, but this camp is 100% fun.

CASTAWAY CAMP

An ecological adventure – Campers will find themselves stranded on an island…now what?! Work together using the supplies you have to learn to survive until you are rescued. Create shelters, use water filtration systems, and study the island’s animals. Learn how to harness the sun’s energy to create solar cookers, communicate with technology, and work as a team! Campers will build daily projects to survive and escape the island. Don’t forget your new duct tape flip-flops on your journey back home!

FLIGHT ACADEMY CAMP

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s…everything from the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights. This hands-on program will let you learn all about aerodynamics and the world above us. Explore the basic principles of flight, build airplanes, test them in wind tunnels, ride a hovercraft and construct balloon copters. Discover the mysteries of the galaxy, learn about celestial navigation, and take home a rocket that you have built yourself. We’ll be moving at light speed throughout this high velocity week!

CRAZY CHEMWORKS

Lose your mind in the vast and exciting world of chemistry! This camp is full of reactions, observations, solutions, suspensions, explosions, concoctions, perplexions, digestions, reflections, and Dalmatians (kidding), just to name a few! You will challenge your friends in the labware game, combat evaporation, be amazed at the awesome power of glue technology and trigger some shocking chemical reactions. You’ll snoop out counterfeit money, launch chemical explosions (not TOO big) and learn how and why the chemical world works. So dive into our fantastically fun pool of chemical experimentation!

LEGO ROBOTICS: COUNTY FAIR

Have a fun week of building and playing with the working models of Ferris Wheel, Merry Go round, Carousel and more. Use the intuitive. With the colorful, intuitive WeDo, drag-and-drop interface being used alongside child-friendly themes, this class is bound to excite children who will bring everyday LEGO® to life by exploring and adding new technology!

BASH’EM BOTS USING LEGO® MATERIALS

Design your custom LEGO® bot to take on any challenge. Mix and match chassis designs using wheels, treads, or walking legs. Combine these with tools like drills, hammers, and battering rams as you refine your masterpiece by sparring with friends and overcoming obstacles. Apply real-world engineering and physics concepts to help you bash and crash your way to victory!

STEM + ANIMIAL ADVENTURES USING LEGO® MATERIALS

Prepare for a full-day LEGO® camp packed with hands-on and minds-on STEM fun! Start the day by building engineer-designed projects and using special pieces to create your own unique designs. Then step into a world inspired by the animal kingdom as you design and build leaping dolphins, buzzing beehives, and towering giraffes. Play, create, and learn in this new full-day camp for LEGO® fanatics!

MANDALORIAN TRAINING USING LEGO® MATERIALS

Here’s our chance to join our friends and learn what it takes to become a true Mandalorian. Using LEGO, an experienced instructor will guide us through the skills and equipment needed to earn the title. We will build our gauntlet fighter ship to weave through the galaxy, our Z-6 jetpacks to maneuver through the air, and of course defend ourselves with our Mandalorian armor. Coming to a galaxy near you!

MINECRAFT MASTER ENGINEERING USING LEGO® MATERIALS

Bring your favorite Minecraft adventures to life with our enthusiastic Play-Well instructors. In a Minecraft world powered by LEGO® resources, we will build shelters to keep out Creepers, craft mystical items that only true masters can wield, and perfect our crossbow skills to stop the Wither from taking over! If you can imagine it, we can build it.

YOUTH ART CAMPS

PLAY WITH CLAY CAMP

If you like to create with clay, then this is the class for you. Make sculptures, bowls, plates, cups, etc. Learn about various kinds of clay and create with each type. Final pieces will be fired and glazed and returned to Parks and Rec for pick up.

FUN WITH PAINT CAMP

Want to be a brilliant painter? This camp will help you on your way. Enjoy painting with step-by-step instructions learning the tricks of the trade. Explore your creative side. Paint on canvas, wood, and various other pieces. Bring an apron or just wear clothes that can get paint on them.

FAIRY AND GNOME HABITATS

Come to this class where you will not just be building any old Fairy or Gnome garden, but a living growing garden. Large bowls will be provided to fill with dirt, sand, tiny furniture, glitter, etc. Also make tiny things for your tiny home. Create a high end home for your fairy or gnome.

CLAY AND PAPER MACHE CAMP

This exciting mixed media camp will start you on your way to becoming a talented artist. Create with clay and cover it with paper mache to create a paper mache wall hanging. Paint it and make it fabulous. At the end of class you will have a wonderful three dimensional piece of artwork.

ROYALTY CRAFT CAMP

Each day we will have several crafts representing one of the favorite princesses. YOUTH DANCE CAMPS

DANCE IT OUT – LINE DANCING KIDS CAMP!

This is a 3-day camp for kiddos who want to learn how to line dance! The first two days will be spent learning different steps and line dances, and the third day will be reviewing and dancing them with the opportunity for parents to join, film and get pictures!
