We will be hosting a 75th Anniversary celebration and party at Recreation Park – you will not want to miss this event!

When ARD was officially formed on July 1st, 1948, the District, and Auburn itself, were different places. But like everything in this world, change occurred, most of it for the better. ARD grew from just one park (Recreation Park) and the use of the Gold Country Fairgrounds to the agency it is currently. ARD now proudly owns and/or manages 11 major parks and 3 community centers, as well as a host of related facilities (pools, ballfields, racquet courts, etc.).

ARD will be commemorating its 75th Anniversary this year, and we are so happy to share this celebration with you, the community that makes the District possible.
